A submersible pump is a type of pressure pump that is completely submerged in water. The electric motor, on which the submersible pump is based, is hermetically sealed and tightly integrated with the hydraulic part of the pump.
Submersible pumps are used for extracting clean and potable water from deep wells, drawing water from boreholes, lowering the water table, drawing water for agricultural, horticultural, and gardening purposes, drawing water for industrial use, dewatering underground structures, as well as supporting the proper functioning of water supply networks.
