HV - Maximum reliability
Description: Booster sets equipped with e-SV type multistage pumps with Hydrovar frequency converters built on motors, manufactured by Lowara - Xylem.
Construction
- The set consists of one to eight vertical multistage pumps with variable speed, controlled by the "HYDROVAR" frequency converter with a built-in controller. The pumps and control are offered by Xylem, a leading manufacturer of water technology devices.
- The set is made with pumps ranging from 1.5kW to 22kW.
- In the AZH set, each pump is equipped with its own frequency converter built into the motor, with a control panel and display, which communicates with other units via an RS485 relay.
- Each set is also equipped with check valves, shut-off valves, pressure gauges, fittings, diaphragm tank, piping system, and stainless steel base.
- Thanks to the use of converters with their own controllers and pressure sensors on each pump, AZH multi-pump sets do not have a single device whose failure could stop the entire pumping system.
- Hydrovar adjusts the motor speed by measuring pressure. The intelligent controller communicates with other units in the set, providing automatic pump shutdown at zero flow, automatic lead pump change, and automatic test start. The control system also provides electronic protection against dry running in the absence of an external signal.
Features and Benefits:
- Energy efficiency due to smooth regulation of each pump. Each pump starts and stops at variable speed, eliminating hydraulic and electrical shocks in installations. The software used allows for pressure loss compensation with increased liquid flow and the possibility of setting a second set value, e.g., reducing pressure during night hours.
- Ease of Use thanks to the Hydrovar control unit ranging from 1.5kW to 22kW, equipped with an easy-to-use control panel with an LCD display. The menu includes an option to select several languages, including Polish. An additional submenu is password-protected to restrict the ability to change parameters that could damage the pump and control system.
- Reliability achieved through independent measurement and control with a frequency converter for each pump. Multi-pump sets are highly flexible, and failure of one component does not interrupt the operation of the entire set, unlike standard systems managed by one controller with a single frequency converter and pressure transducer.
- Safety of operation achieved by preventing excessive pressure build-up in the system and the ability to detect pipeline damage.
