Construction
- The set typically consists of one to six vertical multistage CRE pumps with integrated frequency converters from Grundfos.
- The set is managed by a CU 352 controller from Grundfos. The controller is mounted in the power-control cabinet, which can be equipped with additional modules (communication, input/output), light signaling, etc.
- The controller adjusts the motor speed of the Pumps by measuring pressure, thereby matching the operating parameters to the installation's needs. The control system includes automatic pump shutdown at zero flow, automatic lead pump change, etc.
- Each set is equipped with check valves, shut-off valves, pressure transducer, dry-running protection, pressure gauges, fittings, diaphragm tank, piping system, and stainless steel base.
